Neetu Chandra refuses to use body doubles in her Hollywood debut
Joining the league of Indian actors making to the Hollywood is actor Neetu Chandra. The actor has bagged a new project which will mark her entry into the western film industry on the lines of Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor among others.
Actor Neetu Chandra has been running on a tightly-packed schedule these days. What is keeping her busy is her new project in the west. Neetu has bagged an international project and no, it’s not a small fish. The actor will be seen in Never Back Down – Revolt, an American film based on martial arts. The action-packed film is one of Neetu’s ambitious projects to date. To gear up for a role, Neetu has undergone intense martial arts training. Speaking on her Hollywood debut, Neetu told a new agency, “Being an actor, you always wish to bring something fresh to the table. This film is my chance at taking that shot. I have undergone immense training in martial arts to prepare for ‘Jaya’ the character that I will be playing in the film.”

In this film, Neetu will be essaying the role of a woman who is kidnapped by a gang of fight traffickers. She is then forced to participate in underground fights to win her freedom back. Interestingly, Neetu did not use body doubles for the action-filled scenes. “I refused for using body doubles for my character. I had grilled myself enough through the training, and therefore I wanted to perform the scenes myself. Hopefully, in the future also, I will be able to maintain this practice,” said Neetu.

With the film ready to release, Neetu is hoping for receiving positive responses from the audiences. She said that though her hard work has been appreciated by the film’s director, Neetu is hopeful to be receiving the same from her fans. Never Back Down – Revolt is being directed for renowned filmmaker Kellie Madison. The action-thriller film, produced by Sony Motion Pictures Worldwide is slated for a release next month, on November 16.
