The 23-year-old actress has received rave reviews this year for her performances in Kapoor & Sons and Udta Punjab

On being asked if she is expecting any award, Alia said, "That we will see, saal abhi baaki hai mere dost (the year is not over yet, my friend).

"I just want the awards and rewards from the audience. I want them to come and watch the film (Dear Zindagi), love it, relate to it and feel all the emotions that I went through while making the film."

She was speaking at the Absolut Elyx Filmfare Glamour and Style cover launch, last night.

Dear Zindagi, also starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Kunal Kapoor, Ali Zafar and Angad Bedi, is set to hit theatres on November 25.
