Palakkad: Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) has sought an explanation from Mollywood director Anil Radhakrishna Menon for allegedly insulting actor Bineesh Bastin. FEFKA secretary B Unnikrishnan said to media that action would be taken against the director if his explanation is not satisfactory.

The secretary said he came to know about the incident through social media. He added he had sought an explanation from Menon. Action would be taken if the explanation is not found satisfactory, Unnikrishnan said.

Anil Radhakrishna Menon, who was invited to release the college magazine in Palakkad, Kerala, said that he would not share the dais with Bineesh Bastin, who was also invited as a guest for the function. In a video, which went viral on social media, Bineesh revealed that the college authorities had asked him to leave the college as Menon was not interested in sharing the stage with the actor, who had sought chances to work with him.

Following that, Bineesh reached the venue overturning the objections of the college authorities and protested by squatting on the floor and delivering a speech.
