Master leak: Social media flooded with support from leading south stars' fan clubs

As culprits leaked Thalapathy Vijay's Master film a day ahead of release, fan clubs of the leading southern film industry stars have expressed solidarity with the makers. Fan Clubs are appealing to their respective audiences on social media platforms to stop endorsing piracy and have asked the public to watch films only in theaters.

In a case of showing strong support against piracy following the leak of Thalapathy Vijay's Master, fans of leading stars including Mahesh Babu, Darshan, Vijay Devarkonda, Prabhas, Suriya, Dulquer Salman, Puneet Rajkumar, Pawan Kalyan, Thala Ajith Kumar, Allu Arjun, Sudeep and others have started to trend stop sharing the leaked film and appealed only to watch in theatres. 

It is said an employee from Sony Digital Company was behind the leak and the culprit has leaked the first half of the film.

Immediately, the director of the film Lokesh Kanagaraj took to Twitter and wrote ,"Dear all It's been a 1.5 year long struggle to bring Master to u. All we have is hope that you'll enjoy it in theatres. If u come across leaked clips from the movie, please don't share it Thank u all. Love u all. One more day and #Master is all yours."

Soon the fans from across all the South languages and fans of superstars from the respective state also extended support and appealed not share the film and encourage piracy and asked fans to watch only in theatres.

Early in the morning, Kannada star Darshan's fan page DTT (D Boss Trend Telugu) appealed to all the fans of Darshan to report in case they find any leaked footage. 

Similarly, actor Puneeth Rajkumar fan club also appealed for the same. With a solid support base on Kerala and Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, fans of Malayalam superstar Mammooty and  Telugu star Mahesh Babu also echoed similar sentiments. "Please do not share any leaked clips from #Master. Many have given their heart and soul to work in movie." wrote Mahesh Babu FanClub.

In an emotional appeal fan page of Vijay Devarkonda wrote, "We all know How many life's and livelihoods are linked for a movie. Many sleepless nights Many efforts

As @Devarkonda fans we know the pain so don't support piracy!"

After seeing the response from other fan clubs and pages, fans of Vijay thanked all for standing with 'Master'
