Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor have cause for worry as COVID-19 enters Boney Kapoor’s house


As COVID-19 continues to spread, the virus has reached the doorstep of Bollywood producer and would be father- in-law of Malaika Arora, Boney Kapoor’s house as the maid in the house has tested positive for novel coronavirus. As a result, Kapoor and his two daughters were forced to go into quarantine.

Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor were in for some shocking news as Arjun Kapoor's father Boney Kapoor has had to go into quarantine after the maid of house tested positive for COVID-19.

The famed producer who is bankrolling Thala Ajith's 'Valimai' after finding success with 'Nerkonda Paarvai' to get a strong foothold in the South film industry, released a statement confirming the news.

In an official statement Boney Kapoor said, the domestic help tested positive for COVID-19. He was unwell from Saturday and that prompted him to undergo tests which confirmed that he was infected with coronavirus. The Bombay Municipal Corporation has transported the domestic help to be treated in an isolation ward.

The producer further added that he and his two children Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor along with other staff members are all fine and none of them are showing any symptoms of the coronavirus. However, they have been placed under home quarantine.

Production of Kapoor's project Valimai has also been stopped due to the pandemic and lockdown.

While Kapoor resides with his daughter from Sridevi, his son Arjun Kapoor stays separately.

Fans hope that once that situation returns to normal Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora will announce their wedding date.
