Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi's Mimi trailer out: Film to take you on emotional, comical ride about surrogacy

Mumbai: Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi starrer Mimi will give you an epic tour in the world of real-life surrogacy, events leading to it while serving enough doses of laughter. Set in the small town of Bikaner, Mimi is a story about a girl (Kriti Sanon) who agrees to carry the baby of a foreign couple for Rs 20 lakh.
Hilarious twists of events take place once her surrogacy journey begins, followed by some emotional turns. The trailer shows Pankaj Tripathi as a driver who strikes a deal with foreigners looking for a surrogate and convinces Kriti to take it up; however, the biological parents do not want the child later on.
The film's supporting cast includes Sai Tamhankar, Manoj Pahwa and Supriya Pathak, setting expectations high for the film.
Dinesh Vijan produces the film, and it will premier on Netflix and Jio Cinema on July 30. The film is directed by Laxman Utekar and presented by Maddock Films.
