Rakshit, the lead actor of Puttagowri Maduve Kannada serial was injured at the sets while shooting a fight sequence.

Known by his character name Mahesh, Rakshit was shooting for a fight scene for the serial when he was hit by a tube light and suffered minor injuries.

The scene required Mahesh (Rakshit) to fight with a stuntman, who holds a tube light. But as the fight began, the stuntman hit the tube light on Mahesh's head. The pieces of the tube light were about to cause damage to Mahesh's eyes, but he missed it by a whisker.

The actor had clarified that there was no major injury.

Puttagowri Maduve serial has completed more than 1750 episodes and also has been trolled for elongating the plot of the serial. This serial is the remake of Hindi serial Balika Vadhu.

But later the plot was changed to suit the audience, which also led to trolls, with scenes like lead actress Ranjani who plays  Puttagowri fighting a cheeta  in the forest.

The serial was in the number 1 spot according to TRPs for a  long time. Now, it is back in news with the minor injury caused by the tube light sequence.

But the question is, be it fight in serials or films, does the crew use proper safety equipment or are they going to continue risking their lives with no proper gear?
