Jason Momoa tests positive for Covid while shooting ‘Aquaman’ sequel

GoT actor Jason Momoa has isolated himself after testing positive on the sets of the Aquaman sequel. Though the actor is recovering at the moment, the film crew is waiting for him to get back on the sets at the earliest.

Actor Jason Momoa has been busy shooting for his next, superhero film 'Aquaman' sequel in the United Kingdom. Sadly, if the buzz around is to be believed, then the actor is now under isolation after he tested positive for COvid-19 recently. With this latest update, the makers of the Aquaman sequel are hoping to keep any more outbreaks on the sets at a bay, given they already have a tight schedule.

As per information, though Jason is recovering well and is under isolation, the real challenge is for the makers who have are presently worried about any delays that may hamper the schedule. Though the Covid tests are conducted on the sets on and off, the makers are expecting to continue with the shoot even as they wait for Jason to return to the sets healthy and fully recovered. The film by the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) movie is being shot at Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom. Earlier, Jason had given a sneak peek into the schedule saying that the filming has been a lot physically demanding in comparison with his other projects so far.

"I am getting old these days. I have messed up my eyes but getting it cut. I had to undergo surgery for the same. At the same time, I also have hernia while my ribs are out. In all, I am constantly getting beaten up. However, I love my job too much. I get a lot excited and give it everything that it takes. After all, I am an aging superhero at the moment,” the Game of Thrones (GoT) star was reported saying by a news agency, recently. In other news, Jason had recently missed attending the 35th birthday of his GoT co-star and on-screen wife, British actress Emilia Clarke. He commented on Clarke’s picture saying: “Happy birthday love sorry I missed it”.
