Mumbai: Sohum Shah, a versatile actor, is known for his extraordinary performances in conventional and nonconventional cinema. Bheema Bharti, played by Sohum, became the show's essence and captured everyone's attention making the show a hit.
The actor is now all set to commence his upcoming project and shared the same on social media.
Writing on social media, he wrote, "Starting a new project this week aur main kaafi excited hoon, but I will have to control my excitement and stay silent till I'm allowed to say anything. Really looking forward to this one."
According to a source, "Sohum Shah is all set to be a part of a Silent film starring Nushrratt Bharuccha, Konkona Sen Sharma and Nora Fatehi, and he may be dropping hints of it for the people to guess. The movie is also helmed by a renowned director and produced by an eminent producer."
Sohum's role as a strong politician in Maharani was loved by many. His commitment was second to none as he chose to gain a significant amount of weight and grew a moustache to get the role some authenticity. He also studied many politicians and local MLAs to get the nuances right and added a bit of his flavour to bring to life a character that everyone loved.
Sohum will next be seen in the web series Fallen, helemd by Reema Kagti.
