A few minutes after the announcement of 'Shehzada', Kartik Aaryan's name started trending soon after. He will be seen in the film that Rohit Dhawan directs. The film is a remake of Allu Arjun starrer 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' – a title that garnered massive success last year. Kartik will be essaying the role initially played by Allu Arjun, co-starring Kriti Sanon. The duo will reunite after Luka Chuppi.
