Manju's Facebook page has been flooded with comments from her fans, expressing their support and praising her decision to divorce Dileep.

 

However, perhaps it is better to keep in mind that Dileep's current moment of glory aside, Manju is a celebrated and talented actress. 

 

Let us look back and recall Manju's hit movies.  

 

Warrier made her debut in 1995 with Sakshyam at the age of 16. She played the role of Murali's daughter. 

 

 

Warrier's notable films include Sallapam, Ee Puzhayum Kadannu, Thooval Kottaram, Kaliyattam, Krishnagudiyil Oru Pranayakalathu, Daya, Summer in Bethlehem, Kanmadam, and Pathram.

 

Sallapam: The movie was directed by Sundar Das and stars Dileep, Manoj K. Jayan, and Warrier in the lead roles. The movie emerged as a superhit in the year 1996. 

 

 

Ee Puzhayum Kadannu: Kamal directed the film. Manju was paired with Dileep. The movie was a box office hit. The film was remade in Telugu as Pelli Peetalu, in Tamil as Kanna Unnai Thedukiren and in Kannada as Sambhrama. She also won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress. 

 

 

Thooval Kottaram: The movie stars Jayaram, Sukanya, Manju, Oduvil Unnikrishnan, Murali, and Babu Swamy. The film was a commercial success and played for 300 days in theatres.

 

 

Daya: Then movie starring Manju Warrier in the lead role. The storyline of the film is adapted from One Thousand and One Nights. The director Venu won awards for best debut director at the National Film Awards and Kerala State Film Awards.

 

 

Pathram: The movie was a political thriller starring Suresh Gopi, Murali, Manju Warrier, Biju Menon, T. P. Madhavan and Spadikam George. The movie was one of the best political dramas in Mollywood and was the highest grosser of that year 1999.

In the year 1999, Manju also won the National Film Award – Special Jury Award for her performance in this movie. The film stars Thilakan, Biju Menon, Abbas and Kalabhavan Mani. Superstar Mohanlal had sung a song Kaithappoovin along with K. S. Chithra, which became widely popular.

 

 

After her separation from actor Dileep, the mother of a 14-year-old went back to being the superstar that she'd been before. 

 

She made her comeback with the movie How Old Are You?. 

 

 

She was acting in a film after a 14-year sabbatical.  The film was received positive reviews from critics and was a big hit of the year. 

 

Later, the film was remade in Tamil as 36 Vayadhinile with Jyothika in the lead, who was making her comeback too. 

 

The movie fetched her many awards, including Manju's fifth Filmfare Award for Best Actress. With this win, she holds the record for maximum Filmfare Awards for an actress in Mollywood. 

 

Manju Warrier is all set for her Tamil Debut with Vannam.
