Amy Jackson was spotted on the sets of Sudeep’s upcoming film, The Villain. The actress is all set to make her Kannada debut with the Eega star. According to reports, Jackson landed in Thailand a few days ago and has already begun shooting sequences for the film. The actress is currently in Krabi and no doubt, enjoying the picturesque beaches.

Jackson will be playing the female lead and this is the first time she’s starring opposite Sandalwood big wigs, Sudeep and Shivrajkumar. Admittedly, there has been a lot of buzz around The Villain, which is expected to release by the end of 2017.

However, the film has been hit by snags in production. A Follo report claimed that the cast and crew were supposed to shoot in Manchester earlier but this has been delayed due to the recent bomb blast that took place during Ariana Grande’s concert.

Apart from The Villain, Jackson will also be seen in the much-awaited Rajinikanth starrer Enthiran 2.0. The film is set for release in 2018 but leaked images from the sets suggest that Jackson will be playing a robot.

In the movie stills, Jackson is seen driving a truck in a robot costume however, the actress denied that she’ll be playing the role of a robot in the film.

“No! Definitely not! I cannot say anything more about the role. It is quite a challenging one, and if I talk about it, I would give away the entire plot. All I can say is, it’s something I have never done before,” Times of India quoted her as saying.

Jackson, who hails from UK, said South Indian films keep her motivated. She added that she has a special affinity for Bengaluru, where she shot her first film, Madraspattinam. “We were shooting at a very cool fort. I love the weather and the people. It is a really good place to be,” she said according to Times of India.
