Aaradhya Bachchan, the daughter of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, recently made headlines when she sued various YouTube channels in the Delhi High Court for spreading false information regarding her health. The Delhi High Court's ruling forbade YouTube channels from disseminating any false or misleading information on Aaradhya's health. Additionally, the court ordered uploaders to stop distributing illegal recordings, anything that invades consumers' privacy, and anything that disseminates false information about Aaradhya. Aishwarya responded to it recently at an occasion.

The Taal actress said it's wonderful that a member of the media is acknowledging that such things do exist while speaking to the media at the premiere of her next movie Ponniyin Selvan 2. It's wonderful that a member of the media only is acknowledging that it exists, Aishwarya was quoted as adding. We are grateful for your enlightened identification of the detrimental effects of false writing or unneeded writing that is insensitive and unnecessary because it offers us tremendous hope that you will not perpetuate it and that you will not support that. So I want to thank you very much for your recognition of that and for your support of the sentiment that we all share.

Dayan Krishnan, Ameet Naik, and Pravin Anand, who represented Aaradhya and Abhishek in the Delhi High Court, claimed that the court's ruling in the case was a landmark decision on three counts: an injunction upholding a child's right to privacy, a prohibition against spreading false or harmful information about a child, and a prohibition against defamation.
