Spiritual leader Sadhguru has once again written to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami and Opposition Leader MK Stalin informing them about the sentiments of over 3 crore people who favour ending of government control on temples in the state.

In his second letter to the two leaders, Sadhguru informed that the free Tamil Nadu temples campaign had received widespread cutting across the social spectrum.

Taking to Twitter, Sadhguru took to Twitter to reach out to EPS and Stalin: "Hereby, I convey the heartfelt wishes of over 3 crore Tamils. As responsible political leaders, I beseech that you liberate Temples, the core of Dravidian Pride; to be always remembered as the restorers of the soul of TN to its full glory and possibility."

In his letter, Sadhguru urged both political leaders to promise the people of the state that temples will be given back to them.

He appealed to the leaders not to turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the "heartbreaking appeal of the people".

After the recent Tweetstorm by Sadhguru, which saw him firing off 100 posts on the micro-blogging site seeking to raise awareness about the need to protect Tamil Nadu's temples, people shared shocking videos and images of centuries-old temples in utter ruins.

These included visuals of the 13th century Abathsahayeswarar Shivan temple, an 800-year-old Thirunadeeswarar Alayam and the Moondreeshwarar Koil believed to have been visited by Agasthya Muni but was now allegedly being used as a 'storage dump'.
