Tamil Nadu: 17-year-old arrested for molesting minor and attempting to rape her
A 17-year-old boy inn Tamil Nadu was arrested after a schoolgirl complained that he molested and attempted to rape her.
FollowA minor girl studying in Class 9 was allegedly cornered and molested by a 17-year-old boy.
The incident happened in Ramanathapuram Police Station limits on Tuesday after the victim's parents approached police.
As per reports, the girl went out to fetch water a few days ago prior to the incident from a public tap. The accused, a private college student, allegedly clicked a picture of her cleavage and later sent it to her phone, saying he would upload it on social media if she didn’t speak to him.

The accused who would also stalk her, allegedly, dragged her to a vacant site and molested her. The minor managed to escape.
However, as per the complainant, he still continued his antics and would force her to come to a vacant place so that he could take advantage of her. The girl then narrated her ordeal to her parents who complained to police. Officials arrested the accused, who happens to be her neighbour.
After his arrest, the boy was sent to a juvenile home.
