Kerala: TV anchor and celebrity chef Jagee John found dead

Thiruvananthapuram: Jagee John, TV anchor and celebrity chef was found dead in her house at Kuravankonam in the capital city of Kerala on  December 23.  According to reports, her body was found in the kitchen of the flat where she was living with her mother.

Police who are probing the case are yet to find out the reason for the death, and they had registered a case of unnatural death.  According to reports, the body did not have any wound mark. Police said they could reach a conclusion only after the autopsy.

Jagee was a known face in music, fashion, fitness and cooking.  The police recorded the statement of Jagee's mother, who is suffering from memory loss. She informed the police that Jagee was cooking and suddenly she collapsed on the floor.

As Jagee’s elderly mother is making contradictory statements, the police are waiting for the postmortem report. Suicide angle is also being probed, according to reports.

Meanwhile, Jagee's last post was made on December 22 morning. It said, "May the tears you cried in 2019 water the seeds you're planting for 2020."
