Arjun Reddy actress Sai Sudha has accused that a police inspector took a bribe of Rs 5 lakh to weaken her case against cinematographer Shyam K Naidu
Hyderabad: A police inspector probing the cheating case against cinematographer Shyam K Naidu in Telangana was sent on leave after an accusation against him of accepting Rs 5 lakh bribe.
As per reports, Telugu actress Sai Sudha submitted proof against SR Nagar police station inspector Murali Krishna of accepting Rs 5 lakh to dilute her cheating case against Shyam.
Earlier, the Arjun Reddy actress had filed a case against Shyam for cheating her after making a promise to marry her. This had left the entire Telugu film industry in a state of shock.
According to her, Shyam forced her into a relationship with him with a promise of marriage. But it never happened. Now, she has accused him of using his influence to weaken the case.
Based on her complaint against Shyam, police had arrested him in May. Now, the actress was shocked to learn that the inspector allegedly created false documents saying that both Shyam and Sudha had settled the issue amicably.
But she never withdrew the case against Shyam. Following her accusations and submitting related documents before the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau against officer Murali of taking a bribe, the inspector was sent on leave.
