Bengal youth arrested for posting morphed image of PM Modi
To send a stern warning to those indulging in controversial posts on social media, the West Bengal Police arrested a youth from Burdwan West district for posting a morphed image of PM Narendra Modi
Kolkata: A youth in West Bengal has been arrested for posting a morphed image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Asansol Durgapur Police arrested him from Kanksha police station limits.
The arrested person was identified as Kalu Sheikh and he is a resident of Hajrapara.
As per a report, a few days ago, the accused posted a morphed photograph of PM Modi on his social media account. The post went viral and created an uproar. After this, police traced his account details and arrested him following a complaint.
It is said, on the way to a district court the accused claimed to be innocent and did it by mistake and said he will never do it again.
