Austalia and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) player David Warner is back with another video. This time he has chosen to dance to Kamal Haasan and Ilaiyaraaja's Tamil song from Thevar Magan
Bengaluru: Australian opening batsman David Warner continues to rule social media with his TikTok videos. The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain is entertaining fans during the coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown with his dance moves. Today (May 9), he chose to shake a leg to a Tamil hit number.
On Saturday, Warner, his wife Candice and their daughter Indi Rae were seen shaking their leg to a Tamil song from Kamal Haasan’s hit movie Thevar Magan. The music was scored by Ilaiyaraaja.
The left-handed batsman took to his Instagram account to post the video and captioned it, “We are back again!! #challenge #family #boredinthehouse #isolation @candywarner1 (sic).”
Warner and his family danced to the instrumental version of “Inji Iduppazhaga” song from Thevar Magan. In the movie, Kamal and Revathi feature in that song. The movie was released in 1992 and also has stars Sivaji Ganesan, Gautami, Nassar, Kaka Radhakrishnan and Vadivelu.
The video received a lot of comments. So far (as on May 9, 11.50 AM IST), the video had over 5.8 lakh views. Warner had recently danced to a Telugu hit number “Butta Bomma” from Ala Vaikunthapurramloo flick. Earlier, he grooved to “Sheila ki jawani” Hindi number which featured Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif.
Warner was set to play in India in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) but the cash-rich Twenty20 league has been suspended indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic. The league was scheduled to start on March 29.
