Rohit Sharma out of New Zealand tour; here are likely replacements
Who will the BCCI selectors pick to replace the injured Rohit Sharma in ODI and Test squads for the tour of New Zealand?
Bengaluru: India batsman Rohit Sharma has been ruled out of the ODI and Test series against New Zealand. The BCCI selectors are yet to name a replacement for the opening batsman.
The MSK Prasad-led selection panel had already announced the ODI squad for the three-match series starting on February 5. However, the Test squad is yet to be unveiled.

Rohit injured his calf during the fifth T20I against New Zealand in Mount Maunganui on Sunday (February 2). He was the captain of the side after Virat Kohli was rested. Due to his injury, KL Rahul took charge of the team.
It is a huge blow for India. Mayank Agarwal or Shubman Gill may replace Rohit in the ODI squad. In the Test line-up, KL Rahul and Gill may get the nod. Rahul is likely to be the reserve opener. Gill recently hit a double century for India A against New Zealand A and this might help.
