Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah is on a roll, as he has been a pain for the English batsmen in the ongoing Pataudi Trophy Test series. He is currently the joint-highest wicket-taker in the series.

Consequently, owing to his splendid and consistent performance, he has been nominated by the International Cricket Council for August's Player of the Month award. English skipper Joe Root, the current highest run-scorer in the series, has also been nominated.
