Virat Kohli has completed his mandatory six-day quarantine in the United Arab Emirates ahead of the Indian Premier League 2021 resumption. As a result, he has joined his side, Royal Challengers Bangalore, for the first training session on Saturday morning.

Kohli, along with pacer Mohammed Siraj, had arrived in Dubai from London via a charter flight on September 12, after the fifth Test against England was called off due to COVID fears in the Indian camp. Nevertheless, all the Indian players tested negative before departure.

On Saturday morning, a three-minute video was posted by RCB on social media, captioned, "Bold Diaries: Virat Kohli joins the RCB team after quarantine -- There were smiles, hugs and laughter in the RCB camp as captain Virat Kohli, Mohammed Siraj, and some of our foreign players had their first hit in the nets. #PlayBold #WeAreChallengers #IPL2021."

The video displayed Kohli, along with some of his teammates, entering the training ground with his kits. It was an early morning session, as his teammates greeted him, including AB de Villiers.

As for the practice session, Kohli was seen playing some lofted cover drives. Meanwhile, Siraj went on to say that all the batsmen are in good form, while the likes of Glenn Maxwell, Kohli and de Villiers are looking in good touch, which is excellent news for the side.

Also, head coach Mike Hession said, "He has got more and more confident over the last two seasons. Obviously, he has done well for India (in England Tests). He is aware of what he wants to do, and therefore, he shows more confidence."
