IPL 2021 to resume with MS Dhoni Vs Rohit Sharma clash in UAE on September 19
While 13 matches will be held in Dubai, ten would be played in Sharjah and eight in Abu Dhabi.
Chennai will take on Mumbai in the opening clash of the second instalment of the Indian Premier League, which will get underway on September 19.
The schedule for the remaining part of the IPL 2021 was announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India on Sunday.Â
The tournament was postponed in May 2021 following the Coronavirus pandemic.Â
In total, the United Arab Emirates will host 31 matches in 27 days.Â
While 13 matches will be held in Dubai, ten would be played in Sharjah and eight in Abu Dhabi.
The UAE leg of the IPL 2021 will have seven doubleheaders, and the final game of the league stage will be played on October 8 between Bengaluru and Delhi.
