IPL 2021: Punjab Kings' Harpreet Brar takes shot at Akshay Kumar in a unique fashion
Harpreet Brar is an uncapped Indian spinner playing for the Indian Premier League's Punjab Kings since 2019 and has impacted IPL 2021 with his terrific spin bowling. Akshay Kumar is a renowned Indian actor who has prominently acted in Bollywood movies.

Playing for Punjab Kings against Royal Challengers Bangalore, he successfully claimed three crucial wickets of Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers.
Consequently, Brar has become a popular name in the tournament overnight. Moreover, owing to his proper Sikh attire, fans have adored him even more, reminding all veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who hailed from the same state.
Meanwhile, on a note, one of the fans referred Brar to the Bollywood character of renowned Indian actor Akshay Kumar from his hit movie Singh is Bling. The fan wrote, "Paaji aap singh is bling ke Akshay Kumar dikhte ho (Brother, you look like Akshay Kumar from Singh is Bling."

Nonetheless, Brar came up with a savage reply to the fan. He wrote, "Paise k liye nhi Turban nhi pehnte hum #isupportfarmers (I don't wear a turban for money)."
Following the same, the internet was seemingly divided on the stand. While some hailed Akshay as an artist and backed him for his freedom to play diverse roles, some applauded Brar for his bold stand.
Akshay is one of the most successful Indian actors in Bollywood, having acted in 113 movies since 1991. Currently, he is scheduled to work in six more films. Despite being Indian born, he relinquished his Indian citizenship in 2011 and is Canadian since then.
