IPL 2020: Rohit Sharma grabs stunning catch in practice session
The Mumbai Indians skipper took a stunning catch in training sessions while practicing at Abu Dhabi.
2019 IPL winners, Mumbai Indians, are practicing hard for their first match scheduled against CSK in the coming week. All teams are pulling up their socks, training hard for the upcoming tournament. The coaches are rendering their best to impart skills to the boys in a short period of time. With a prolonged rest due to the pandemic, the players have to put in some extra effort to train their muscles and flex their bodies.
Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma has been seen toiling hard in practice sessions. The skipper amazed fans by pulling off a one-handed stunner during one of the fielding sessions. The video posted on Mumbai Indians’ official Twitter account showed the head coach Mahela Jayawardene giving training to the slip fielders. With a couple quick ‘body catches’, Rohit Sharma was able to grab a low grounded catch, depicting his agility. The team is currently training at Abu Dhabi for their practice sessions.
Rohit Sharma has hit the grounds after a long time since he was rested for the India-New Zealand series in February due to his calf injury. He could not even play a game against South Africa for the same reason.
