Following a power-packed weekend where fans relished doubleheaders, Match 19 of the tournament is scheduled on Monday evening. This will be a clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Dubai International Stadium.

RCB and DC have both been sailing smoothly in this IPL season, as of now, and have continued to amaze fans with their thrilling matches.

Team Composition

Both RCB and DC have got a good balance. The young guns of DC are in phenomenal form at the moment. Besides, the blend of RCB players is also in good touch.

Current form

As of now, both the teams have given an equal start to the season. Both have registered three wins and a loss in the four matches so far. Furthermore, both teams are coming off weekend wins, as DC defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), while RCB beat Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Head-to-head

RCB and DC have clashed a total of 23 times. RCB, till now, have experienced an upper hand and have won 14 matches, while DC have won on eight occasions.

Weather and pitch conditions

Approaching October days have provided some respite to the players, as some breeze blows in the evening. The temperature will still be slightly warmer, at around 38 degrees. As far as the pitch is concerned, batting first offers some more advantages than chasing, as has been the tradition this season. The pitch gets extra slow by the end of the second innings and even dew doesn’t assist the batsmen. Any score around 170 will be highly competitive.

Predicted 11

RCB: Devdutt Padikkal, Aaron Finch, Virat Kohli (c), AB de Villiers (wk), Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, Isuru Udana, Navdeep Saini, Adam Zampa, Yuzvendra Chahal.

DC: Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer (c), Rishabh Pant (wk), Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Ravichandran Ashwin, Amit Mishra, Kagiso Rabada, Harshal Patel, Anrich Nortje.

Fantasy XI

Batsmen: Virat Kohli, Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer, Paddikal (c)- Kohli and Shaw can ensure a good opening stand at the start. Iyer can consolidate in the middle and Padikkal can provide the momentum whenever needed. Furthermore, Padikkal’s consistent form makes him skipper.

Wicketkeepers: AB de Villiers (vc), Rishabh Pant- De Villiers and Pant, both are wicketkeeper-batsman, and are perfect hard-hitters and can make things turn when the situation demands. De Villiers’ reliable form makes him the vice-captain.

All-rounders: Marcus Stoinis, Washington Sundar- Stoinis and Sundar are mainly bowling all-rounders and can bring the breakthroughs when required.

Bowlers: Kagiso Rabada, Isuru Udana, Yuzvendra Chahal- The pace stream comprising Rabada and Udana can restrict the opposition to an early total. Chahal, with his wristy googlies, can scalp wickets easily.

Players to watch out for

Aaron Finch: The RCB opening batsman has been an under-performer this season. With the regular playing chances given, he will have to prove himself, so as to keep his position intact.

Rishabh Pant: The player has been in good touch this season, has rendered required partnerships, and played his part. However, a big knock from him certainly awaited, for which he is known for.
