IPL 2020 — Kings XI Punjab squad: Full list of KXIP players with their salaries after auction

Bengaluru: Opening batsman KL Rahul has been appointed as the captain of Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) for next year’s Indian Premier League (IPL). The announcement came during the players auction in Kolkata on Thursday (December 19).

KXIP bought nine players at the auction with Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell being the costliest buy at Rs 10.75 crore. Recently, Maxwell had taken a break from cricket to deal with his mental health issues. However, he is back to playing now.

With a 25-member squad and a new captain and new coach (Anil Kumble), KXIP will be hoping to do better in IPL 2020. Also, they have roped in Wasim Jaffer as the batting coach and Jonty Rhodes as fielding coach.
