IPL 2020: Arjun Tendulkar spotted with Mumbai Indians’ players in UAE
Arjun Tendulkar was seen relaxing in a swimming pool along with Mumbai Indians' (MI) players ahead of IPL 2020 in the UAE
Dubai: Ahead of defending champions Mumbai Indians’ (MI) opening match of IPL 2020 against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Abu Dhabi on Saturday (September 19), batting legend Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun was spotted with the team in the UAE.
The Rohit Sharma-led franchise are already preparing for the 13th edition of the IPL. When some of the MI players were relaxing in a swimming pool, there was Arjun too.
Left-arm paceman Arjun himself shared a picture on his Instagram Stories on Monday night (September 14). This led to speculations whether he has joined the MI squad. However, it was not to be.
Arjun is officially not part of the squad. He is there assisting the team as a ‘net’ bowler. All eight franchises have picked ‘net’ bowlers.
In the picture posted by Arjun, he is seen with Australian fast bowler James Pattinson, Indian legspinner Rahul Chahar, New Zealand paceman Trent Boult and others. A similar picture was shared by Chahar on his Twitter page.
