Harbhajan Singh, Geeta Basra's love story: Here's how the cricketer first came to know about his wife
Harbhajan Singh is a veteran Indian off-spinner who has represented the side across formats and has helped the side attain numerous success at the international level. As for his personal life, he is married to Geeta Basra and has a daughter, besides expecting their second child.

The couple happened to be in an undisclosed relationship for a long-time before deciding to tie the knot in 2015. They were blessed with a daughter in 2016 while expecting their second child this year.
The couple seems to be the perfect one. However, how much do you know about their love story?
Speaking on how Bhajji first came to know about her, Geeta revealed to SpotBoye, “He saw my poster, he liked me on that poster, so he tried to enquire about me. And then, my Woh Ajnabee song had released, and he was like, ‘Kaun hai yeh ladki (Who is this girl)?’ I never watched the sport, so I didn’t know who Harbhajan Singh was. I didn’t know any of these guys.”
Geeta was one of the most famous actresses in Bollywood, as she rose to fame following her hit movie, The Train, alongside Emraan Hashmi. Nonetheless, after her marriage to Bhajji, she has distanced herself from Bollywood.
Speaking on the same, Geeta said, “It was a personal choice that I didn’t want to work... I was enjoying motherhood so much, and enjoying her milestones, and making sure that I’m there for every single moment of hers -- her first walk, her first laugh, her first word. I enjoy what I used to do, and when the time comes, and when I’m ready, I will definitely head back to work.”
Harbhajan is aged 40 but is yet to announce his retirement from any form of the sport. He continues to feature in the Indian Premier League for Kolkata Knight Riders.
