The World Health Organisation has punched a hole into yoga guru Baba Ramdev's claim that his alleged Coronavirus cure Coronil has been recognised as a medicine for COVID-19 by the global health body.

According to the new guidelines, international travellers must submit a self-declaration form before their journey. This form must be uploaded on the Air Suvidha portal. 

 After seeing a spike in Covid-19 cases in Maharashtra and Kerala, Sudhakar said that the state has issued circulars for coronavirus as both the states share borders with Karnataka.  

India reports 13,993 new Covid-19 cases, 10,307 discharges, and 101 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per Union health ministry.  

In two districts of Maharashtra, Amravati, and Yavatmal, restrictions were put in place. While a 10-day lockdown was announced in Yavatmal, a weekend lockdown was imposed in Amravati.

India reported 13,193 new Covid-19 cases, 97 deaths in the last 24 hours. The death toll due to the virus has risen to 1,56,111.
