As the nation rattled after travelers from the UK arrived and over dozens tested positive for the Covid-19, East-Godavari native escaped from a quarantine center. Officials caught her from a first-class train in Rajahmundry and took to an isolation center. The big concern is she might have come across over dozens of people.

West Bengal reports 1,628 new COVID-19 cases. According to the state health bulletin, the count for active cases in the state has reached 15,689 on Wednesday (December 23).
