Tata Motors targets premium range, launches 'Dark Range' of Altroz, Nexon and Harrier

Vivek Srivatsa, head of marketing in the passenger vehicles business unit at Tata Motors, said: "The limited-edition Harrier Dark, which was launched in August 2019, did extremely well and went on to became an integral part of the Harrier portfolio. We are confident that the extended dark range is equally compelling and cater to customers who are looking for bold & stylish cars this festive season."
The dark theme on Harrier's exteriors and interiors created a unique identity for it. Other changes like distinctive dark finishes, special Blackstone matrix dashboard and premium dark upholstery were well appreciated and helped Harrier Dark stand out in the crowded SUV segment.
The new Harrier Dark offers all-new Oberon black colour with a tinge of deep blue, adding to the stunning looks of the SUV. It also sports bigger R18 Blackstone Alloys.
As for the interiors, the Harrier Dark offers a premium dark theme and sports a complete dark upper environment, as is the trend in the premium luxury car segments.
The front seat headrests have a special dark embroidery blending with the overall dark theme. The Harrier Dark will be available in 3 trims -- XT+, XZ+ and XZA+.
Tata Motors has now extended the Dark franchise to some other aspirational brands in the portfolio.
The Altroz Dark, the new top of the line version, comes in a new cosmo black exterior body colour with a dark tint finish. It rides on R16 alloy wheels and has a premium dark chrome across the vehicle's hood.
Adding to the Altroz Dark's premiumness are granite black interior themes with metallic gloss black mid-pad and a leatherette upholstery with deep blue tri-arrow perforations. The Altroz Dark will be available in the top variant, XZ+ for petrol (NA and iTurbo).
As for Nexon's dark avatar, the car comes with new charcoal black R16 alloys, matte granite black cladding and sonic sliver highlights on the body.
The interiors offer premium leatherette upholstery on the door and on the seats. The front headrests have a special dark embroidery in line with the interior's theme.
The new Nexon Dark will be available in both petrol and diesel fuel options in XZ+, XZA+, XZ+(O) & XZA+(O) variants.
The dark theme on Nexon's Electric Vehicle would be available on the XZ+ and the XZ+ LUX variants.
The variants will come with all-new charcoal grey alloy wheels, premium midnight black exterior colour with satin black beltline and a dark mascot.
The car's interiors are accentuated with a dash of dark-themed glossy piano black mid-pad with premium dark-themed leatherette upholstery on seats and door trims, highlighted by EV Blue stitches (on the seats) and a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel.
The car will also come with an intelligent tyre pressure monitoring system.
The Nexon EV XZ+ variant will have adjustable rear seat headrests, a rear-seat central armrest with cup-holders and a 60:40 rear seat split.
