Ola, the country's largest mobility platform, has unveiled a teaser of its e-scooter with company CEO and co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal himself featuring in the video. He is seen taking a Sunday ride on Bengaluru's streets in disguise.

The 56-second teaser which Aggarwal shared on Twitter has gone viral. In the teaser, the company has also shared key features of the scooter.

From ergonomic seating, superior cornering, class-leading acceleration, twin LED headlamp cluster to largest-in-class boot space are some of the key features listed in the video.

Aggarwal said the Ola Scooter's speed, range, manoeuvrability, technology and handling make it a gamechanger.

Initially, the scooter will be rolled out in the black shade, but the company also stated that it will also come up with more colour options.

Meanwhile, Aggarwal on Friday met Tamil Nadu to meet CM MK Stalin to appraise him about the Rs 2,400 crore electric future factory which is coming up on a 500-acre site at Barguru. When fully built next year, at 10 million units a year capacity, it will be the world’s largest two-wheeler factory. The project will also generate 10,000 jobs.

1 lakh power charging stations across India

The company had earlier announced that to meet the challenges of charging the e-scooter, it will set up over 1 lakh charging stations in 400 cities across the nation. In the first year from its launch, 5000 charging points will come up and soon more will be added. As per reports, if charged for 36 minutes, the scooter would give at least 150 km mileage.
