YouTube awards Asianet News digital platform with funds to experiment with AI technology in videos

This financial support will facilitate the digital platform Asianetnews.com, one of the top 10 news platforms in India, to bring in a revolutionary artificial intelligence (AI) driven technology, which will be instrumental in increasing the volume of video content production across all vernacular languages with videos in new formats.
The digital platform aims to provide an enhanced and immersive user experience while improving language interoperability at the video front.
“Asianetnews.com has shown noteworthy dominance with respect to traffic and revenue in the six months across English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu websites. This funding from YouTube will boost our platforms’ efforts to bring about a major change in the digital user experience in terms of news and video content consumption across India, especially in the southern region,” said Abhinav Khare, CEO of Asianet News Digital.
