YSRCP supremo YS Jaganmohan plans a revised padayatra

Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) supremo YS Jaganmohan Reddy announced a six-month padayatra from October 27th in the footprints of his father and former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy.

But his padayatra has hurdles in the form of court order in which the court asked Jagan to appear before the court every Friday in regard to his pending cases. A special CBI court decided to speed up the trial in the cases of alleged quid pro quo investments involving Jagan and others by taking up the hearing for one entire day every week, on Friday.

So YSRCP had revised their padayatra to ‘Districts yatra’ where Jagan would tour each district for four days. The leaders of each district are informed about the change of plans. There is also a change of date to this yatra, instead of October 27th this yatra would begin from the first week of November.

The route map and schedule for this District yatra is being mapped out as to the days, time, constituencies to be covered, local leaders to attend and the necessary precautions to be taken.
