YSRCP Chief YS Jagan plans to wean Backward Classes from TDP

Andhra Pradesh opposition leader and YSRCP (Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party) supremo YS Jaganmohan Reddy for the very first time participated in BC (Backward Class) community meeting today. It looks like YS Jagan is planning to wean away the BCs away from TDP (Telugu Desam Party). BCs have always supported TDP in every election.

Addressing the meeting YS Jagan asked all the BC leaders to tour every district and enquire about the problems of the BCs. He promised that he would implement BC declaration once YSRCP came to power.

He called all the BCs to fight against TDP government for not fulfilling its promises to BCs. Chandrababu promised to provide Rs 10,000 crores sub-plan for BCs but has only allotted Rs 4,000 crores in the three budgets.

He reminded that TDP has always seen BCs as a vote bank while former CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy worked for the BC community by providing scholarships to BC students, built 13 lakhs houses to BCs and implemented Arogyrasri for the health benefits of everyone.

YS Jagan asked the leaders to tell the BCs that ‘Anna is coming’ to do justice to the BCs. He promised to conduct a ‘BC Garjhana’ in the state to proclaim the power of the BC Community.
