YCP demands for CBI probe into Amaravathi construction

FollowAlla Ramakrishna Reddy, YCP (Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party) MLA speaking to the media on Friday said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has been cheating the people in the name of new capital city construction.
Alla said that their allegations were proved with the facts revealed by former chief secretary of AP IYR Krishna Rao who said that the plans of Amaravathi capital by the state government were not viable. IYR also said that the government did not consider the recommendations of Sri Krishna Committee.
Alla alleged that Chandrababu is playing games in the name of laying foundation stones and till date seven foundation stones have been laid with no further work commencing. He alleged that Chandrababu did not heed judicial warning that the Swiss Challenge process is wrong. The farmers who gave lands to the capital city are crying that they have been cheated.
Alla demanded the government to immediately release the White Paper on the capital city. He accused Chandrababu of corruption and demanded that a CBI or a judicial enquiry should be undertaken on the Amaravathi Construction process.
