The incident took place on Sunday at around 2 pm and was shot by an autorickshaw driver who took the evidence to the police. In the video, the man in a blue shirt is seen raping a woman sitting on the footpath near the Railway New Colony quarters.
What is more horrifying is the fact that pedestrians could be seen walking on the footpath, but turning a blind eye to the incident. Even the autorickshaw driver did not bother to help the woman, instead of shooting the incident. Police, after getting the evidence, has arrested the culprit and has informed the victim's family. She is currently being treated at a local hospital.
