Woman found brutally murdered in her house in Ramavarappadu

In a gruesome incident, a 35-year-old widow living alone in Ramavarappadu of Krishna district was found brutally murdered on Tuesday. Her husband died a year ago and the woman did business with the compensation amount she received from the death of her husband.

Puvvada Kalyani from Kanigiri in Prakasam district was living alone after her husband died in a road accident. She did business with the compensation money by giving credit on interest.

According to police sources, neighbours informed the police when she didn’t respond to repeated knocking. The police found her brutally murdered by miscreants who slit her throat and disappeared with money, jewelery and her vehicle.

Police found five condoms of which one was used and empty liquor bottles in the corner of the room where the body was lying. The police suspect extramarital affair and an enquiry has been launched about the details of everyone who came to her house.

Police brought in a dog squad, which could chase only till Kollavari street while the clues teams were busy collecting fingerprints from the crime scene.
