Anantapur Lok Sabha Member from TDP (Telugu Desam Party) JC Diwakar Reddy will resign his MP seat. This is the rumour that’s causing tremors in the political circles. He alleged that his Anantapur constituency is suffering under the TDP (Telugu Desam Party) rule and is intending to resign his MP membership. He might hand over his resignation letter to directly to Speaker Sumitra Mahajan in the next Parliament session.
He believes that he was responsible for garnering 12 seats to TDP in 2014 elections and he promised to fill up lakes with water as his election promise. But even as the next elections are drawing near, there is nothing done as yet and JC is worried his name would suffer in the process.
His word doesn’t seem to work in his constituency as it is dominated by the Khamma community. Though he has close ties with AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, it doesn’t seem to be working where his constituency development works are concerned.
But he officially didn’t confirm his resignation though he had mentioned many times that he would not contest in 2019 elections. He is bringing forth his son as his political heir.
