TDP minister Lokesh asks YCP leaders to return farmers loan waiver amount

Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh speaking in Srikakulam on his two-day visit challenged the opposition YCP (Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party) leaders to return the amount that they were benefitted with through the loan waiver scheme.

He was speaking to the people on a loan waiver scheme and said that many leaders, MPTCs and sarpanchs from YCP had benefited from the loan waiver scheme and challenged the leaders if they would return the amount. He also said that he has all the details about who got money and how much.

He claimed that the AP CM Chandrababu is the only CM who waived loans worth Rs 25 crore and that no other state in the country which were able to do it.

“Is the waiving of loan based on qualified farmers or based on parties as farmers can’t be categorised according to parties. Does the opposition have no say if the welfare schemes are not properly implemented?” are the questions of the opposition.

Chandrababu promised a different plan of a loan waiver scheme but had implemented a different one. He reduced the amount of loans and also cleared the loans in phases which had become confusing and chaotic.
