Opposition leaders security is neglected by AP government

Andhra Pradesh government seemed to exhibit negligence over the security of opposition leader and YSRCP (Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party) supremo YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

YS Jagan went to Guntur on Wednesday to attend a program and reached Gannavaram Airport. The Government allegedly provided a bulletproof vehicle from the airport, which didn’t have an air conditioner and neither was it clean.

Local leaders complained to the police who later changed the vehicle in Guntur. While returning back to Gannavaram Airport, the vehicle’s tyre punctured at Mangalagiri and YS Jagan had to use a private vehicle to reach the airport.

Earlier in the past, when YS Jagan was travelling from Kurnool to Hyderabad, he faced a similar situation. The vehicle provided for him by the government punctured and went into the fields.

According to government protocol, opposition leader should be provided proper vehicles but the Government failed to do so. YSRCP leaders expressed their anger and anguish over the negligence of the government.

Party program committee convener Talasila Raghuram requested the police to take proper precautions regarding the security of YS Jagan in the future.
