Man breaks open old man’s skull, then eats his brain!

FollowNo, you read the headline right. This shocking incident took place in Pangidi village of Kovvur mandal, West Godavari in Andhra Pradesh.
Police investigating the case mentioned that eyewitness allege that a mentally challenged after beating a man brutally then proceeded to shatter his skull and then pick his brains and even eat it!
The incident reported in Deccan Chronicle recounted the police’s version of the incident. An elderly man by the name of Muppidi China Nageswara Rao, a gram panchayat worker was asked by a walker to drive off a unkempt looking man from the track. It was close to the village tank which had been developed into a walking track for the locals. Rao’s job was to take care of the greenery and prevent open defecation near the tank.
On Tuesday morning, at around 5, a woman named Jyothi noticed a man with unkempt appearance and strange behaviour sitting near the tank. She asked Rao to drive the man away.
When Rao tried to force the man to go away, it is alleged that the man grabbed the stick Rao was using and turned on him. Rao could not persist against the man’s beatings and he fell to the ground. It appears the mentally deranged man beat him so badly with the stick that Rao’s head cracked open and his skull shattered. The witnesses allege that the man continued to assault Rao and then picked up pieces of his brain and began eating it!
