Lok Satta party chief Jaya Prakash Narayan announces 100 day Surajya Yatra

In a bid to revive the deteriorating political system in the state, Lok Satta party Chief Jaya Prakash Narayan has announced a 100-day Surajya Yatra across Andhra Pradesh.

The 100-day Surajya Yatra would commence from September 15 at Visakhapatnam and would continue for four days in the district. Then it would enter East Godavari district on the September 19 and JP would tour there till the September 23.  It would then continue to other districts.

The details of JP’s yatra were announced by Lok Satta State President Bhisetty Babji in Visakhapatnam. 

Speaking to the media, Babji said that, "JP is commencing this yatra for the welfare of the people. The main aim of this yatra is to warn the people not to believe in the lies of the politicians and be cautious about separation on the basis of caste and religion."

He said that in the past great leaders like Kandhala Subramanyam, Tilak, Koneti Ram Mohan Rao went to the first Lok Sabha from the State. Now the Telugu political value system has destroyed and deteriorated, and he requested the youth to partner with Lok Satta for political change.
