Shibani Dandekar, who turned heads during the Indian Premier League is all set to debut in the remake of Queen in Telugu and Malayalam. Shibani will be portraying the character of Lisa Haydon in the Telugu and Malayalam versions of the film.

Kangan Ranaut’s Queen has won over hearts and was a box office hit. The South filmmakers are eager to remake the film in all the four languages of Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu. Tamanna Bhatia would be playing the lead for its Telugu version, Kajal Agarwal for Tamil, Manjima Mohan for Malayalam and Parul Yadav for Kannada.

Filmmakers decided to cast a single actress in all the four languages in the friend role of Lisa Haydon. Amy Jackson was the first choice but she rejected because of dates and creative difference.

Now two actresses have been roped in for the role. Telugu and Malayalam versions will have Shibani Dandekar while Elli AvRam will be carrying out the role in Tamil and Kannada versions. Producer Manu Kumaran hopes that these two actresses would bring out freshness to the role.
