Balakrishna fans create ruckus on Vijayawada highway

Dozens of fans of actor-politician Balakrishna created a ruckus on the Vijayawada roads near Kanchikacherla Lake on Wednesday, leaving several commuters and road-workers in panic.

The fans, who were on two-wheelers claimed that they were celebrating Balakrishna’s son Mokshagna Tej’s birthday. According to reports, some sweepers cleaning the National Highway in the evening had placed traffic cones on the road to stop traffic from entering the area.

But a dozen Balakrishna fans in cars and two wheelers drove into the area throwing the cone away and screaming at the road-workers.

Later when the highway personnel questioned them, they behaved rudely. What is more baffling is the fact that the entire incident took place in the presence of the local police who stood as mute spectators.
