Bengaluru: In an exclusive interview with Asianet Newsable, Congress MLA BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan has announced that, once the situation returns to normal, he will reach out to Bengaluru violence victims’ families and give them Rs 5 lakh each in cash as compensation from his side. After taking part in burial and prayers for the three deceased who were sole breadwinners for their respective families, Khan blamed police. He said if police had registered a complaint against the person who posted derogatory remarks and not delayed it for three hours, riots could have been averted.
