While dawn-to-dusk hartal is being witnessed in Kerala following the entry of two women in Sabarimala, protests have spilled to the streets of Bengaluru in the neighbouring state of Karnataka. Ayyappa devotees in Bengaluru demanded the resignation of Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan over the entry of women devotees into the Sabarimala shrine. Bindu and Kanakadurga became the first women to enter the temple after the Supreme Court verdict.
