80-year-old mother beaten up for disobeying daughter-in-law in Palakkad

This merciless cruelty is happening in Palakkad for the past one year after mother-in-law transferred her property to her son. 80-year-old Sarojini was assaulted by daughter-in-law Sreemathi for allegedly disobeying her.   She was slapped with chappals and was not provided food.  Sarojini’s daughter was not able to take care of her because her living conditions are miserable and she herself is living in a rented home. Sarojini said she is scared to live there.
