In a shocking revelation, an ex-member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf accused party chief Imran Khan of sending her lewd messages. Former PTI MNA Ayesha Gulalai claimed this in a statement to the reporters. She also called for an inquiry into the allegations against the former cricketer. Following this, she also announced her resignation from the party, citing the same reason.

Hailing from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gulalai said that other female members in the party are facing the same issue. "I am not concerned about a party ticket or NA-1 seat. I did not leave the party over the issue of NA-1," she said talking to reporters. She further added, "I received the first message in October 2013, you can check Imran`s Blackberry." She also revealed that the politician asked the women in his party to use Blackberry so that there is no record of the messages. "Check his Blackberry and you will know everything. The messages contained words that cannot be tolerated by any respectful individual. Imran Khan cannot keep himself under control," she said.

She also said that Imran suffers from psychological issues and added that he does not like talented people. She further said that he has absolutely no contribution during the sit-ins because he can be comfortably located in his house when the party members are facing the tear gas and lathi charge.
